About Us

 BiaSciLab started her journey in tech very young, attending cybersecurity conferences as early as 10 years old! By 11 she started doing talks and teaching about tech concepts she was passionate about. During this time she faced a big problem: she didn't feel that she belonged. Sure people in the tech community were kind and inviting, but there were very few girls she could connect with. 

This is why at age 12 she started Girls Who Hack to create the community she was searching for. When she turned 14, Girls Who Hack became an official non-profit that now helps thousands of girls around the world learn ethical hacking skills in a supportive and not intimidating environment.

Now BiaSciLab is 19 and her mission remains the same: Give girls the essential foundational skills they need to be a safe digital citizens, and set them up for success if they wish to follow a career path in technology.
